About the school

Three and a half decades of steady schooling in Parwanoo

National Public Senior Secondary School has been part of Parwanoo since 1987, growing from a young institution into a school trusted by generations of local families. We offer schooling from Nursery through the Primary and Upper Primary years, into Secondary and Higher Secondary, with Arts and Commerce streams at the +2 level.

As a co-educational school, we bring boys and girls through the same disciplined, values-first environment, one built around our founding motto: work is worship.

Welcome to National Public Senior Secondary School. For over 35 years, this school has stood for one simple idea: that steady, honest effort builds ability, and ability builds character, in keeping with our motto, work is worship.

As Principal, my job is to see that this idea holds true in every classroom, every single day, from a child's first year in Nursery to the day they walk out after their board exams in Class 12. We watch closely, we correct gently, and we expect real effort from every student who walks through our gates.

I encourage every parent to visit us, sit in on a class, and ask us anything you like. We would be glad to have your child here.

National Public Senior Secondary School began in 1987 with a simple aim: to bring genuine, disciplined education to the children of Parwanoo. Thirty five years on, that aim hasn't changed, it has only grown, carried by the same values and the same belief that every child deserves a school that takes them seriously.

Running this school has always been a personal commitment for our family, not a distant one. We stay involved in its everyday life, and we intend to keep it that way as the school grows into its next chapter, for the students here now and the ones still to come.

Nursery through Class 12, in one school

Students move through four stages under one roof, in a continuous, familiar environment from their first year through board exams.

Stage 1

Primary

Nursery to Class 5. Foundational literacy, numeracy, and early classroom habits.

Stage 2

Upper Primary

Classes 6 to 8. Broader subjects and the start of more independent study.

Stage 3

Secondary

Classes 9 and 10. Board aligned preparation under the Himachal Pradesh Board.

Stage 4

Senior Secondary

Classes 11 and 12. Arts and Commerce streams, HPBOSE affiliated.
